The big push to get autonomous working and finalize our engineering portfolio, as well as fix everything that is breaking...
We're gearing up for FTC provincials. Our drone launcher is finally working, and we are almost done with our hanging mechanism. Can't wait for provincials!
We have been frantically fixing our robot this week, we've managed to iron out most of our flaws. We have also completely redesigned our drone launcher and have a brand new winch mechanism to help us hang. Hopefully it's be done in time for provincials.
This week we went to the FTC Qualifier at St. Margaret's school, where we had a great time. We also won the Inspire Award, which is an incredible accomplishment, and came in 4th place in the matches. We are currently working on changing our robot based off of the results of the Qualifier. Next step, provincials!
With competition just around the corner we're touching up on our weak spots, and improving overall. This week it's all about making sure nothing will break down.
We continued to work on perfecting our FTC code, practiced hanging!
Our last week before the break, we began to wrap things up and finish off some last minute tasks. We are hard at work recycling PLA!
This past week has been jam packed. Our build team disassembled the FTC robot, and started the reassembly! Our programmers also finished documenting the code.
After an eventful scrimmage, we're completely overhauling our robot! New claw, new plane launcher, new intake, and a new autonomous. We've even started prototyping a mechanism to hang with. Our new and improved robot will focus on speed and ease of use.
